Alex was born in Leongatha and his family has farmed in the region since the 1890s. After completing an engineering degree and a Masters in business Alex worked in Melbourne and overseas before bringing his family home to raise kids in the country.
He has run his own businesses for many years and has engaged in numerous corporate governance positions including the as Board President of Gippsland Southern Health Service. Alex commenced working with the nbn in 2021 in a Gippsland focused role assisting businesses with their connectivity issues.
